Position: Server Assistant *Tipped Position*
Position Available: 1 Position
Hourly wage: $11.91 + tips per hour
Estimated hours: 32 Average hours per week
Overtime: Slight
Overtime rate: $17.60 per hour
Meal: Participants may be eligible for some meal discounts, ranging between 25-40% depending on years of service.
Job Prerequisites:
- Must be 21yrs or older. Some experience in positions involving customer service or food and beverage service is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- This is a multi-floor establishment and you will be required to climb stairs, carrying dishes, repeatedly. This is a physically demanding position. Advanced English speaking and comprehension skills are required. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.
- An interview with the host employer is required prior to placement.
Job Description:
- This is a great entry-level position to gain restaurant experience. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position where you will earn good tips if you work hard, have a positive attitude, and are a team player.
- You will be responsible for bring food to guest tables from the kitchen, clearing and re-setting tables after service keeping a pace with the flow and needs of the restaurant. Pre-bussing empty plates and glasses from tables, maintaining a clean environment within the restaurant.
- Must be able to climb stairs repeatedly to serve and clear tables on upper levels of restaurant.
- You will also be support for the wait staff. There are times when your position will change from busser to food runner, depending on the needs of the establishment. Additional tasks may be assigned by your manager.
- Must commit to end of contract date.
